Cover reveal: How to Marry an Alien (My Alien Romance Series #3) by Magan Vernon

I'm not a fan of aliens similar to Aliens vs. Predators, but I'm a HUGE fan of hot, sarcastic and sweet aliens like Daemon Black as well as beautiful, friendly and bubbly ones like Dee Black. Aren't they great? This post, however, isn't an appreciation post to the Black siblings. It is about a new book in a series which tells us a story featuring our kind and peeps from a different planet. My Alien Romance is a series written by Magan Vernon and her third book in the series, How to Marry an Alien, is expected to release on January 2nd, 2013. You've probably heard of it. But have you seen the cover? Nope, because it's being revealed today (yay!) and here it is:

Title: How to Marry an Alien (My Alien Romance #3)
Author: Magan Vernon
Published: January 2nd 2013
Add It: Goodreads
Alex’s interstellar relationship has finally been sealed in the eyes of the human world, so now she can move on to her next step: college.

With Ace by her side and a new piece of jewelry on her finger, she thinks she is ready for anything. Well, almost anything.

Her new roommate holds a dangerous link to her past that Alex isn't sure if she can handle. Then there is the whole alien fiancé thing. Every time she tries to get closer to Ace, he seems to pull further away. Top that off with a full summer class load and a few more alien attacks and it’s just another day for Alex.

Except this time she isn’t sure if marrying an alien will be the happy ending she’s hoping for.
The cover is designed by Steven Novak at Novak Illustration.

My thoughts: I think the cover is absolutely gorgeous! It follows the style of the previous covers in this series, but in my opinion, this is the best one, although.. I may be biased, because purple is my favorite colour. #Justsayin'. The chemistry between the models is definitely there and sizzling. Also, I get this magical vibe from the cover. I think it's stunning and definitely invites me to discover this world. I know that one shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but it's the first thing that makes you notice a book when you're in a bookstore and there are a million books to look at. It has to stand out and this cover most certainly does. Great job!
